Echocardiogram & Stress Echo
We provide Echocardiogram services, which uses sound waves to create detailed images of your heart, while a Stress Echo adds exercise using either a treadmill or a stationary bike to help assess heart function under physical stress. Both tests are essential for diagnosing heart conditions and ensuring your heart is healthy. All Echocardiograms and Stress Echo testing requires a physician referral and a booked appointment.
Electrocardigram & Stress Test
We provide rapid access to Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) testing, which records your heart’s electrical activity, and helps our Hamilton and Oakville cardiologists spot and treat irregularities like arrhythmias. A Stress Test (also known as a Stress ECG / Stress EKG) adds exercise using either a treadmill or stationary bike, and monitors your heart’s performance during exercise to check for issues under physical stress. We require a requisition from a primary care physician and you may either book an appointment or you can take advantage of our walk in ECG clinic offered at our Stoney Creek location.
Holter Monitor (24 Hour, 72 Hour, 7 Day)
Holter Monitor testing is offered by appointment at either location or by walk in at our Stoney Creek location. A Holter Monitor is a portable device that records your heart’s rhythm continuously for 24 hours, 72 hours, or even 7 days, allowing our Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Welland cardiologists to detect irregularities that may not be caught during a standard ECG, providing valuable insights into your heart's health during daily activities and sleep.
